Apple Inc has acquired Fleetsmith, a San Francisco-based startup company whose technology helps businesses manage Apple’s Mac and iPad devices among their employee bases. ♦ Apple previews new iPhone software, changes to Mac chips The move is a push by Apple into the mobile device management industry, a category of business software dominated by players such as Microsoft Corp and VMware Inc. Saudi Arabia has reported 3,123 new cases and 41 deaths from coronavirus, taking the total cases to 167,267. The death toll raised to 1,387 after reporting the new deaths. Meanwhile, 2,912 patients fully recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 112,797. Thailand plans to allow some foreign travellers into the country starting next week, as it eases restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, a senior official said on Wednesday.
