Cairo : Egypt’s Health, Petroleum, and Labour Ministers are monitoring the aftermath of an offshore accident late Tuesday involving the Adam Marine 12 drillship near Gebel El Zeit in the Gulf of Suez. Twenty-seven ambulances were dispatched 20 to the site and seven to El Gouna Airport. Four injured were airlifted, and 18 others were transported by road to El Gouna Hospital. Manama : Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, announced that 2,584 housing finance applications, across the Tas’heel, Tas’heel+, Mazaya, and Mazaya (New Category) programmes, were approved in the first half of 2025. Zhengzhou : Two people have died and six others are still missing following torrential rains in Xixia County in the city of Nanyang, central China’s Henan Province, the local emergency response headquarters said Tuesday. Torrential downpours with total precipitation of 225.3 mm in two townships triggered a sudden surge in the water level in the downstream of a local river on Monday, damaging infrastructure and leaving some residents trapped. Following the flooding, rescue efforts were immediately implemented, with two people successfully rescued. Further search and rescue efforts are underway in the quest to locate the missing individuals.
