NHRA: Bahrain free of India-made ‘contaminated’ cough syrup Manama : The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) has affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s markets are free of ‘contaminated’ cough syrup made in India, from which the World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned due to the unsafe materials it contains. In a statement, the NHRA indicated that the aforementioned cough syrup is not registered in the Kingdom, and therefore it has not been imported to the Bahraini market, stressing that it does not allow the entry of any products that are not manufactured in approved and registered factories in the Kingdom.…

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree (41) of 2023, appointing a director-general at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, based on a proposal by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and following the approval of the Cabinet. Under the decree, Dr. Yusuf AbdulKarim Bucheeri was appointed as Director-General for Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Minister of Foreign Affairs shall implement the provisions of this decree, which takes effect upon its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.

Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) conducted a joint inspection campaign in the Muharraq Governorate, in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) of the Ministry of Interior and the Governorate’s respective Police Directorate.
