Manama: Five Indians killed in a car accident in Bahrain at 10pm on 1st September. A cleaning company truck collided with their car near Aali area on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway in Bahrain., deceased were identified as Mahesh VP from Kozhikode, Jagath Vasudevan from Malappuram, Gaider George from Thrissur, Akhil Raghu from Kannur and Suman Rajanna from Telanghana , who were employees of leading private hospital in Bahrain. the bodies of the deceased were kept in Salmaniya Medical Complex mortuary. the Interior ministry said investigation is on process and a comprehensive report will be submitted to the Public Prosecution.

Zürich : Bahraini athlete, Winfred Yavi, added a new title to her achievement-laden sports career when she won the women’s 3000m steeplechase at the Zürich Diamond League, the 11th leg of the Diamond League 2023 season.
