Giant tsunamis could be triggered by underwater landslides caused by climate change in the Antarctic, according to a study. Scientists found that climate change episodes millions of years ago may have led to underwater landslides – creating huge waves that crashed on to shores in South America, New Zealand and South-East Asia. Dubai has unveiled a major plan to develop 54km of beaches around Palm Jebel Ali, Palm Jumeirah and Al Mamzar, and a new beach at Jebel Ali. A Missouri man who drove a rented box lorry into security barriers near the White House was charged on Tuesday with threatening US President Joe Biden after authorities said they believed he might have deliberately crashed.
