Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa directed to dispatch urgent humanitarian relief aid to the Kingdom of Morocco to help alleviate their suffering in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit several regions in Morocco. HM King Hamad’s initiative reflects the strong historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Morocco, and their people, and is an embodiment of the kingdom’s approach of solidarity with other countries in such difficult times.

One pilot has been found dead after an AeroGulf helicopter crashed into the sea on Thursday, the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority said on Friday. Search and rescue operations continue for a second pilot who was aboard the craft. The Bell 212 medium helicopter took off from Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai for a night-training exercise with two pilots on board, an Egyptian and a South African.
