Manama : Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Alastair Long, UK Ambassador to Bahrain. The meeting discussed enhancing investment opportunities in the oil and environmental sectors. Dr. Bin Daina affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with various countries to consolidate and develop strategic partnerships in various fields, especially in the oil and environmental sectors. Ambassador Long commended Bahrain’s achievements in the oil and environmental sectors, wishing the Kingdom success within the framework of its comprehensive development process.

Manama : Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), inaugurated the First Bahrain Psychiatry Conference. Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Health Minister, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Governmental Hospitals, and Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of Government Hospitals, were present. Muscat : Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the 33rd meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting reviewed the draft agreement on the extradition of accused persons in the GCC countries, and the project to develop the agreement on the enforcement of judgments, judicial cooperation and service in the GCC countries.
