Jiuquan : China successfully sent four meteorological satellites into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Monday. The satellites, belonging to the Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation, were launched by a Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket at 9:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) and have entered the planned orbit. They will be mainly used to provide commercial meteorological data services. It was the 23rd flight mission of the Kuaizhou-1A rockets.
Manama : The Ministry of Health has called on citizens and residents, especially the groups most vulnerable to infection with COVID-19 and its complications, to get XBB 1.5, the latest Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent booster shot developed against COVID-19 and its new variants. Manama : The Bahrain International Airport (BIA) has achieved the prestigious Level 1 accreditation in the ACI Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation programme, based on existing international best practices and recommendations. Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today ratified and promulgated Law (26) of 2023 endorsing the Air Services agreement signed between the governments of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Chile, following its approval by the Shura Council and the Representatives Council. According to the law, the agreement, concluded on February 26, 2023, has been ratified. The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this law, which comes into effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
