Beijing : Two subway trains collided in heavy snow in Beijing, sending 515 people to the hospital, including 102 with broken bones, authorities said Friday. The accident occurred Thursday evening in Beijing’s mountainous west on an above-ground portion of the sprawling subway system’s Changping line. Kuwait : Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, has died at the age of 86, the royal court said on Saturday. In late November, Sheikh Nawaf was admitted to hospital “due to an emergency health problem”, but was later reported to be in a stable condition.
