The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) announced the completion of more than 743,000 ID Card transactions in 2023. Of these, 705,000 were processed electronically through the National Portal, bahrain.bh, smart devices, and other digital channels, making up 95% of the total. The number of eServices related to ID Card and Civil Records currently stands at 32 eServices. The Organising Committee of the UAE SWAT Challenge has said that 87 teams from 48 countries will be participating in the event, up from 55 last year, including five female and two mixed teams. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) is working on the water supply and environmental sanitation projects in several districts, including Medi, Haradh, Hiran, and Abs in Hajjah Governorate, and Al-Azhoor camp in Razih District in Saada Governorate, Yemen. According to SPA, between 3 and 9 January 2024, KSrelief pumped 876,00 litres of potable water and 8,164,000 litres of usable water into the Hajjah Governorate.
