Manama : The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) signed an agreement with BNP Paribas Bahrain to restore several houses around the Bahrain Fort in Manama. The agreement was signed by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BACA President, and Amine Bel Hadj Soulami, CEO of BNP Paribas Middle East & Africa. Manama : A Blood Donation Camp, in association with Salmaniya Hospital, Kingdom of Bahrain, was held on Friday, 7th June 2024 by The Thattai Hindu Community at Shrinathji Shri Krishna Temple (T.H.M.C. Auditorium), Al Hadrami Avenue, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. This event is being conducted for more than 30 years, four times a year.  On average per quarter, around 150 devotees donate blood four times a year. Today also 150 number of people, including Hindu Temple devotees, registered for blood donation, and the event was a grand success. Moscow : Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, on the sidelines of his participation in the twenty-seventh St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in Russia. The Minister emphasised the significance of ongoing meetings and mutual visits between the two countries to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation, joint initiatives, and projects across all sectors. Riyadh : The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia announced that Friday is the first day of Dhu Al-Hijjah, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to June 7. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the court said that standing at Arafat shall be on Saturday, the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, corresponding to June 15, and the blessed Eid Al-Adha shall be on the following day, Sunday.
