Manama : The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) launched a public awareness campaign to promote the safe and optimal use of electricity in homes.  The campaign aims to raise awareness on the importance of regular electrical safety checks at home, including ensuring the proper functioning of the grounding and protection systems, which can disconnect power in case of malfunctions. Manama : The Ministry of Interior announced the designation of a dedicated hotline (997) to receive reports regarding cases of obtaining the Bahraini citizenship in violation of the law.  The hotline will be operational starting Thursday, June 27th, and will be available from 8 am to 12 pm during official working days. Callers must disclose their identity and make sure that the information provided may assist the work of the committee assigned to review citizenship cases.

Manama : Bahrain’s two-month midday ban on outdoor work during the afternoon will begin on Monday, July 1. The ban on work under direct sunlight and in open places will run from noon at 12pm until 4 pm, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Minister of Labour said.
