Beijing : Eleven people have died, and 14 others are missing after heavy rainfall in Huludao city, Liaoning province, northeast China. Chinese authorities have launched a search operation for the missing and are gradually restoring roads and communication networks in the affected areas. Manama : The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has started upgrading its main customer service centre in the Diplomatic Area, with work beginning on August 25. A temporary centre on the ground floor will handle requests during the renovation. The upgrade, aimed at improving service efficiency and introducing new facilities, is part of broader efforts to enhance electronic services. Bangkok : Thai authorities announced that the death toll from a landslide on Phuket Island has risen to 10. The landslide, triggered by heavy rainfall, occurred early Friday, affecting over 400 people.

London : The colt Bradsell, owned by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Team Victorious, achieved a distinguished victory by winning first place in the Group 1 Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes at York Racecourse in the United Kingdom. New Delhi : Officials in the Indian state of Tripura have reported that the death toll from recent flash floods has risen to 20. Continuous rainfall over the past four days has caused rivers to overflow, leading to floods and the displacement of thousands of residents in the state. More than 65,000 people are currently staying in 450 relief camps across eight districts. Over 200 rescue teams, including civil defence, fire services, and emergency personnel, have been deployed to assist in search and relief operations following the devastating floods.
