Beirut : Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati welcomed joining the Green Middle East initiative launched by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, considering it an “essential step” for his country. Manama: The General Directorate of Civil Defence managed to rescue four people and extinguish a fire that broke out in a farm in Al-Malikiya village this morning, Saturday. Initial information indicates that the health condition of those rescued is stable. The Civil Defense had dispatched 15 vehicles and 48 officers and personnel to control and extinguish the fire, and then immediately began the necessary cooling process to prevent it from recurring again. Geneva : Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced on Friday that monkeypox vaccines will arrive in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the coming days to confront a new strain of the virus.
