Vilnius : A DHL cargo plane crashed near Lithuania’s Vilnius airport on Monday at about 0330 GMT, killing one person and injuring two others, airport, police and firefighter officials told. The airplane, operated by SWIFT airline on behalf of DHL, originated from Leipzig, fell on a house, a spokesperson for the governmental National Crisis Management Center said. Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced the implementation of 1,642 inspection campaigns and visits, during the period of 17 to 23 November 2024, which resulted in the detention of 24 violating and irregular workers, while 83 violators were deported. The inspection campaigns and visits also resulted in monitoring several violations related to the provisions of several regulating laws, especially the LMRA and the Residency Laws in the Kingdom, noting that legal measures were taken regarding the observed violations. Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, issued Decree (97) of 2024, appointing the Minister of Legal Affairs as Acting Minister of Labour, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet. Article I The Minister of Legal Affairs shall, in addition to their current duties, undertake the responsibilities of the Minister of Labour for a period of three months.
