Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, extended his condolences to the family of the late Dr. Sulaiman Al Dajani, the first Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain. His Majesty the King recalled the late ambassador’s significant contributions in strengthening the historic relations and close ties between the two countries and their peoples, noting his role as the first Jordanian ambassador to Bahrain. The family of the deceased expressed their appreciation to His Majesty the King for his condolences and sympathy during their loss.

Gramado : A small plane carrying 10 people crashed into shops in the center of the tourist city of Gramado in southern Brazil on Sunday, killing everyone on board, state government officials said. The aircraft’s owner and pilot, Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, died along with the other nine passengers, all of whom were members of his family, according to Rio Grande do Sul Governor Eduardo Leite. Manama : The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) has been recognised as a health-promoting university as part of the collaboration between the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) in Bahrain. Manama : The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that live ammunition drills will take place in the Northern Naval Area (Hare Shtaya) on Wednesday, December 25, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, at a safety altitude of 21,000 feet. Manama : The Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced the implementation of 272 inspection campaigns and visits, during the period of 15 to 21 December 2024, which resulted in the detention of 39 violating and irregular workers, while 95 violators were deported. The inspection campaigns and visits also resulted in monitoring a number of violations related to the provisions of a number of regulating laws, especially the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the Residency Laws in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that legal measures were taken regarding the observed violations.
