Manama : The Anti Narcotics Directorate at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, in coordination with the Air Customs Directorate at Customs Affairs, has foiled an attempt to smuggle over 11 kilograms of narcotics via air cargo, with an estimated street value of BHD 64,000. The operation began when Air Customs officers intercepted a postal package containing 1.156 kilograms of synthetic cannabis. Manama : The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed sympathy and solidarity with the Republic of India following the crash of a civilian passenger aircraft near Ahmedabad Airport in the western part of the country. Manama : Civil Defence teams successfully extinguished a fire that broke out in a warehouse containing building materials and furniture in Salmabad. Cooling operations were carried out following the fire to prevent any possible reignition. The General Directorate of Civil Defence said that 17 vehicles and 48 officers and personnel were deployed to the site immediately after the incident was reported. The fire was brought under control and contained, preventing it from spreading further. No injuries were reported, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.

Nice : French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the international treaty for the high seas, which focuses on preserving marine areas beyond national jurisdiction and ensuring sustainable use, has garnered enough support to come into effect in early 2026. In his speech at the United Nations third Ocean Conference in Nice on Monday, Macron said that 55 countries have completed ratification of the treaty. Makkah : Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) transported approximately 1.87 million passengers via the Holy Sites Train between the stations in Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat during the operational period from the 7th of Dhul Hijjah until the end of the Tashreeq days, conducting 2,154 trips. The operational plan for the Holy Sites Train included five main movements.
