Manama : The Ministry of Information has announced that registration for traditional games competitions as part of the Heritage Village Evenings Festival, which runs until the 18th of the holy month, has opened. The ministry has set the registration period from February 28 to March 3, emphasising that prior registration is mandatory and no registrations will be accepted after this date. Casablanca : Morocco’s National Office of Railways (ONCF) has finalised contracts worth 29 billion dirhams ($2.9 billion) for the acquisition of 168 new trains, reinforcing the country’s push to modernise its rail network ahead of 2030. Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (7) of 2025 on the ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China concerning the elimination of double taxation on income taxes and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance.
