Bangkok :The death toll from the massive earthquake that hit Myanmar is 3,085. As search and rescue teams found more bodies, another 4,715 people have been injured and 341 are missing. The epicenter of Friday’s 7.7 magnitude earthquake was near Mandalay, Myanmar’s second-largest city. It brought down thousands of buildings, buckled roads and destroyed bridges in multiple regions.

Abu Dhabi : Air Arabia Abu Dhabi announced the addition of a new non-stop route to Almaty in Kazakhstan from Zayed International Airport. Manama : The fifth edition of the International Diplomats Programme “Dhiyafa”, organised by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, will begin on Sunday from April 6-20. Brussels : NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio highlighted commitment to NATO unity and objectives in remarks on the sidelines of the organisation’s Foreign Minister meeting today. La Paz : Six people were killed and others reported missing in a clash between miners in the municipality of Sorata, north of the Bolivian capital, La Paz. According to a preliminary report by the Bolivian police, the incident began early in the morning between two groups disputing the exploitation of small gold deposits in the province, located 150 kilometres north of the capital.
