A four-month-old Bahraini baby girl has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). According to the latest update from the Health Ministry’s contact tracing data, the baby girl tested positive after coming in contact with two other coronavirus positive cases. The latest update also includes a large number of expat workers from India and Bangladesh, as well as several Bahrainis from the International COVID-19 Repatriation Programme.

Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani has today issued an edict fixing the price of face masks and ensuring their availability amid soaring demand as the country battles the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Ministry of Education gave the green light, allowing all teachers to work from home as from Sunday, corresponding to the 5th April 2020. The measure followed the directives of the Executive Committee, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
