Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued an order to lift the curfew restrictions partially across the Kingdom starting from Sunday, April 26, until May 13, Saudi Press Agency reported early on Sunday. As per the royal order, the curfew has partially been lifted in all regions of the Kingdom, allowing residents of all cities to go out between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., except in Makkah where a 24-hour curfew would continue to remain in force. Oman’s Ministry of Health announced 93 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,998. 33 of the new cases are Omanis and 60 cases from expatriates. 10 patients died and 333 had recovered from the virus, ONA reported.

Over 200,000 people worldwide have now died with the coronavirus, according to the tally of Johns Hopkins University. There are more than 2.8 million confirmed cases of Covid-19, according to the tally. It comes after the number of deaths in the US passed 50,000. China is dropping a requirement that several key virus treatment products get regulatory approval before export, as long as they are approved in the importing countries, the commerce ministry said on Saturday.
