Bahrain will continue to increase coronavirus testing to find new cases at an early stage and isolate them even if they don’t have symptoms and provide the proper treatment, confirmed Dr. Jameela Al-Salman, Consultant of Infectious and Internal Diseases at Salmaniya Medical Complex.
“Up to today, over 494,000 coronavirus tests have been conducted across the Kingdom of Bahrain and compared to the population of the country it’s about half of the number,” said Dr. Jameela Al-Salman.
117 cases are receiving treatment, of which 36 are in a critical condition and they need oxygen supply and extensive follow-up for 24 hours. The remaining cases reach 5,508 and they are all stable, confirmed Dr. Jameela Al-Salman.
