Manama : KIMSHEALTH Hospital Bahrain organised First Aid Responders Training Program in collaboration with Capital Governorate as part of the healthy city program.
A comprehensive First Aid Responders Training Program was organized for the residents of the Capital Governorate in Bahrain at the KIMSHEALTH Auditorium in Umm Al Hassam, which attracted community members to enhance their emergency response skills.
Mr. Yusuf Lori, Director of information and follow up at Capital Governorate mentioned that the Governorate plans to organize similar programs for different NGOs and Volunteers, aiming to extend the benefits of first aid training to more residents and contribute to the overall safety and well-being of the community.
The training program aimed to equip participants with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to handle a range of emergency situations, including injuries, cardiac arrest, choking, and burns. The program was conducted by experienced healthcare professionals and trainers from KIMSHEALTH Hospital and followed globally recognized first aid standards.
Mr. Tariq E N, Chief Operating Officer at KIMSHEALTH Hospital, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative: “We are delighted to bring this vital training program to the community. First aid skills are invaluable and can make a life-saving difference in emergencies. Our mission is to empower residents with knowledge and confidence in responding effectively to emergency situations.”
The training sessions included a mix of interactive lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and practical scenarios to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of first aid procedures.
