His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, along with his children, Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in the 80 kilometers qualifying endurance race.
The race was held at the Dubai International Endurance City (DIEC), with the participation of 353 riders.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai attended the race in support of his grandchildren.
HH Shaikh Nasser’s children completed the two stages of the race, which covered a distance of 40 kilometers each.
Shaikh Rashid bin Dalmouk Bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Racing Club (DRC), awarded first place to HH Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser, second place to HH Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser, and third place to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser.
The organising committee of the qualifying race honoured His Highness Shaikh Nasser in appreciation for his participation.
HH Shaikh Nasser expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by DRC in organising the race. HH expressed his gratitude to the club’s management for the recognition, expressing his interest and full support for horse racing, which is strongly associated with Arab traditions.
HH expressed his pride in his children’s achievements in the race. HH noted that the ongoing support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and active participation of youth in have significantly driven the development and outcomes of the horse endurance sport in Bahrain.
