Shifa Celebrates International Radiology Day with Enthusiasm and Recognition

Manama: Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital marked International Radiology Day, joining the global celebration that pays tribute to the essential contributions of radiologists in the field of healthcare. This annual event, observed on November 8, serves as a reminder of the remarkable impact that radiology has on diagnosing and treating diseases through the use of advanced imaging techniques.

There was a splendid lineup of activities, which commenced with a joyous cake cutting ceremony, setting the tone for an eventful day ahead. Medical Director Dr. Salman Ghareeb, COO Dr. Sai Giridhar, Consultant Radiologist Dr. Aneesababy Najeeb and BDM Sulfeekar Kabeer delivered felicitation speeches, highlighting the significance of radiology in modern medicine.

A special segment of the celebration was dedicated to acknowledging the exceptional contributions of the hospital’s esteemed radiology professionals. Dr. Aneesa, along with Specialist Radiologists Dr. Betty, Dr. Shaheer Nasjirkhan, Dr. Mirna, and the dedicated team of radiographers, were honoured for their unwavering commitment and expertise in the field.
