Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa performed Eid Al-Adha prayers at Al Sakhir Palace Mosque.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s sons, senior members of the Royal Family, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, ministers, senior officers from the Bahrain Defence Force, Interior Ministry and National Guard, in addition to other worshippers also performed the prayers marking the Feast of the Sacrifice.
Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajiri, delivered a sermon in which he highlighted the noble values embedded in Eid Al-Adha and stressed the tolerant teachings of Islam, including compassion and solidarity.
He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM King Hamad with abundant health, happiness and long life to continue leading the nation towards further achievements, security, stability and prosperity.
He also wished Bahrain and its people everlasting safety and progress and prosperity.
Following the prayers and the sermon, HM King Hamad exchanged greetings and good wishes with worshippers, wishing the kingdom and its people further blessings and prosperity and the Arab and Islamic nations further progress and prosperity.
The worshippers extended their heartfelt congratulations and good wishes to HM the King on this occasion, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect him and guide him on the path of success for the sake of enhancing the progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and strengthening its leading role at the regional, Arab and international levels.
They also took pride in HM King Hamad’s wise leadership and sound policies to bolster Bahrain’s pivotal regional, Arab and international role.
They hailed Bahrain’s wide-ranging achievements during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era, lauding the steady development and progress attained by the kingdom on all levels for the sake of its loyal people.
