Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the Royal Bahrain Concours 2026 today at the Royal Golf Club.
His Royal Highness affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s success in hosting and organising international sporting events and specialised automotive events. His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to building on its past successes and diversifying areas of excellence. In this regard, His Royal Highness praised the Kingdom’s leadership in hosting Formula One races in the Middle East, alongside organising events and specialised exhibitions, which reflect the Kingdom’s expertise, capabilities, and advanced organisational infrastructure.
These efforts demonstrate the Kingdom’s ability to host prestigious international events, in line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development journey, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of advancing the Kingdom’s tourism sector and enhancing its contribution to the national economy, positioning Bahrain as an attractive destination for visitors from across the world.
His Royal Highness noted that hosting major international events, including the Royal Bahrain Concours 2026, consolidates the Kingdom’s position as a destination for global events while showcasing its cultural diversity and rich heritage.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that the Concours also represents a valuable addition to Bahrain’s calendar of events, offering a specialised experience that celebrates the history and evolution of automobiles and their historical and cultural significance.
His Royal Highness affirmed that the achievements of Bahraini citizens are the result of unwavering determination, reflecting their loyalty and commitment to excellence.
His Royal Highness noted that these achievements continue to strengthen the Kingdom’s standing across various fields, demonstrating that nations which believe in the capabilities of their people advance with confidence towards greater leadership and success.
His Royal Highness thanked the organisers of the event and wished them continued success in contributing to the Kingdom’s progress and prosperity.
It is worth noting that the Royal Bahrain Concours 2026 is the premier gathering for luxury car enthusiasts, and combines classic automotive heritage with innovation. The event showcases a collection of rare and unique classic, heritage, and modern vehicles, bringing together prominent car collectors and enthusiasts, alongside leading international automotive brands. The event showcases around 70 of the world’s most luxurious and rare cars competing, alongside a display of more than 100 automobiles from the Royal Bahrain Concours Club.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials, were in attendance.
