Dubai : Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) won the “Best Venue More Than 10,000 sqm” award at the Middle East Event Awards 2026, strengthening its position as one of the region’s leading destinations for exhibitions, conferences, conventions and major events.
The award was announced during the Middle East Event Awards ceremony at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, held alongside the Middle East Event Show and attended by professionals, organisations and venues from the region’s business and live events industry.
EWB secured the award following a competitive selection process that included ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, Dubai World Trade Centre and Etihad Arena.
The award was received on behalf of EWB by Huda Al Shamlan, Director of Marketing, Communications and Partnerships, and Ali Hasan, Senior Business Development Manager – New Exhibitions.
Sara Ahmed Buhejji, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Chairperson of EWB, said the award reflects the quality, scale and versatility of the venue and the world class experience it provides for organisers, exhibitors, delegates and visitors.
Buhejji said the recognition strengthens EWB’s position as a leading regional MICE destination and supports the Kingdom of Bahrain’s standing as a competitive destination for major international exhibitions, conferences and events. She reiterated EWB’s commitment to raising standards and creating greater value for its clients, partners and the wider business events sector.
The Middle East Event Awards recognise excellence across the events industry, including achievements by venues, organisers, agencies, suppliers and event professionals.
The latest award adds to EWB’s international and regional recognition, including “World’s Leading New Exhibition and Convention Centre 2023”, “Middle East’s Leading Large-Scale Wedding Venue 2024”, “World’s Leading Large-Scale Wedding Venue 2025”, “World’s Best MICE Event Venue 2025”, “Middle East’s Best MICE Event Venue 2025”, and “Bahrain’s Best Convention Centre 2025”.
