Manama : In alignment with global public health directives for World Hypertension Day, Al Hilal Healthcare Group, Muharraq successfully convened an Inter-School Social Entrepreneurship Challenge. The initiative was strategically structured to foster school going kids-led public health innovations, challenging students from prominent educational institutions across the Kingdom of Bahrain to develop functional, actionable healthcare models rather than conventional theoretical reports.
The exhibition served as a professional forum for students and healthcare professionals to address hypertension, a critical global health concern. The platform enabled the next generation to demonstrate technical proficiency, research capabilities, and innovative problem-solving through digital presentations and functioning prototypes.

Participating educational institutions included Bahrain Indian School, New Millennium School, Creativity Private School (Janabiya), Pakistan School (Isa Town), The Indian School -Bahrain, The Asian School, The New Indian School, Bangladesh School Bahrain, Quality Education School, and
New Horizon School.
The occasion was distinguished by the presence of HE Mohamed Hussain Al Janahi, Member of Parliament, who attended as the Chief Guest. Renowned community leaders Mr. Abraham John and Mr. Sayed were also in attendance, commending the participating student cohorts for their
contributions to community health education.
Project submissions underwent a rigorous formal evaluation by an expert panel of medical
adjudicators, comprising Dr. Rahul Abbas (Consultant, Internal Medicine) and Dr. Ameera A.
Ameer (Medical Practitioner). Following a comprehensive assessment based on real-world
applicability and technical execution, the top-performing institutions were recognized.
