Beijing : US President Donald Trump departed Beijing on Friday after concluding a two-day state visit to China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Trump held a meeting in Beijing on Friday.
Xi said Trump’s visit was historic and significant, adding that both sides had outlined a new vision for building constructive China-US relations based on strategic stability.
Xi said the two sides had reached important understandings on maintaining stability in economic and trade relations, expanding practical cooperation across various sectors, and appropriately addressing each side’s concerns.
He added that both countries also agreed to strengthen communication and coordination on regional and international issues.
Xi said the visit contributed to enhancing mutual understanding, deepening mutual trust, and improving the wellbeing of both peoples.
