Madrid : Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Secretary-General of the Council for International Dispute Resolution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, met with the new Young ICCA Board in Madrid, on the sidelines of the 27th ICCA Congress.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation, in addition to reviewing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s initiatives aimed at supporting national talent and encouraging regional innovation in the field of international dispute resolution.

They also discussed opportunities to expand youth engagement and strengthen training and professional development programmes in this vital field, contributing to the development of the arbitration ecosystem and opening broader prospects for young lawyers and practitioners across the region.
The Young ICCA Board, established under the guidance of the Secretary-General of the Council for International Dispute Resolution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is a specialised knowledge network for young practitioners and students in the field of international arbitration, operating under the auspices of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration. It has more than 23,000 members and continues to expand access to international arbitration through training programmes, mentoring, and scholarships, contributing to the development of a qualified generation of legal professionals at the international level.
