Kuwait : His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, received a telephone call from Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon.
The Lebanese Prime Minister condemned the attacks targeting the State of Kuwait and affirmed Lebanon’s solidarity with measures undertaken to safeguard its security and stability.
He also highlighted the longstanding relations between the two countries and reiterated Lebanon’s condemnation of attacks targeting Kuwait and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which threaten peace efforts in the region.
On his part, His Highness the Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the Lebanese Prime Minister’s supportive position towards Kuwait and its efforts to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
