Manama : Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications announced that, in light of the closure of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s airspace and certain countries in the region due to current developments, arriving and departing flights at Bahrain International Airport may be diverted, cancelled, or rescheduled.
The CAA said that the concerned authorities are continuously monitoring developments and coordinating with airlines and relevant regional and international entities to ensure the implementation of precautionary measures in accordance with the highest safety and security standards, which remain a top priority under all circumstances.
The CAA urged passengers to contact their respective airlines directly to obtain the latest updates and available rebooking options before heading to the airport in order to avoid any delays or inconvenience.
It also confirmed that it will continue to regularly provide the public with updates through official channels.
