Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued Edict (8) of 2026, appointing directors at the Sunni and Ja’fari Endowments directorates, based on a proposal by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf.
The edict stipulates the following:
Article (I)
The following are appointed as directors at the Sunni Endowments:
1. Abdullah Rashid Abdullah Ali Director of the Mosques and Religious Facilities Directorate.
2. Ali Abdulrahman Yousif Matar Director of the Investment and Endowment Affairs Directorate.
Article (II)
The following are appointed as directors at the Jaafari Endowments:
1. Hassan Abdulali Abdullah Al Khatem Director of the Mosques and Religious Facilities Directorate.
2. Ali Ibrahim Ahmed Al Ghazal Director of the Investment and Endowment Affairs Directorate.
Article (III)
The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take effect from the date of issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
