Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB), today issued Edict (2) of 2025 on the reconstitution of the Follow-up Committee for the Implementation of the Sports City Project.
Article (I)
The Follow-up Committee for the Implementation of the Sports City Project shall be reconstituted, chaired by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, with membership of:
1- Minister of Finance and National Economy
2- Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports
3- Minister of Works
4- Minister of Cabinet Affairs
5- Chief Executive Officer of the Urban Planning and Development Authority
6- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works
7- Director of the Private Office of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports
8- Managing Director and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bareeq Al Retaj Company
9- Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Operations at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy
Article (II)
The concerned authorities shall implement the provisions of this edict within their respective jurisdictions. The Edict shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
