Manama : Bahrain International Airport (BIA) has been rated the prestigious 5-Star rating by Skytrax, the world’s leading airport and airline rating organisation, marking a milestone fifth consecutive year. Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of BIA, highlighted that this recognition reflects the airport’s consistent standards and its continued focus on delivering exceptional services and facilities.
BIA’s continued 5-Star status is a major achievement for the Kingdom, underscoring the airport’s role as Bahrain’s main gateway and its contribution to the country’s broader aviation, tourism, and economic development goals. It also reflects Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in regional and international aviation.
Ahmed Mohamed Janahi, CEO of BAC and Chief of Airport Operations, said the airport’s 5-Star rating for the fifth consecutive year is a source of pride for the entire Bahrain International Airport team. He noted that the achievement reflects the dedication of airport personnel and the cooperation of the wider airport community, including airlines, partners, service providers, and stakeholders, whose collective efforts support world-class operations.
