Manama: The Indian School formally launched the ticket for its much-anticipated Annual Cultural
Fair presented by Star Vision WLL marking the Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Thursday. The ISB
Annual Cultural Fair – Platinum Jubilee Year 2025 will be held over two days, on 15 and 16 January
2026, promising a vibrant showcase of culture, music, and community spirit.

community leaders attended. Recognized as one of the school’s most eagerly anticipated
community events, the cultural fair has, over the years, evolved into a vibrant platform for artistic
expression, cultural exchange, and social engagement. With an entry fee of BD 2, all proceeds from the cultural fair will support the ISB’s educational and welfare programmes.
The cultural festivities will begin on Thursday, 15 January 2026 with a musical concert by acclaimed Indian musician Stephen Devassy and team. On 16 January, the celebrations will continue with cultural presentations by students, followed by an energetic musical performance led by playback singer Rupali Jagga, accompanied by Abhishek Soni and their ensemble. The programmes on both days will be held from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm, offering hours of immersive experiences for students, parents, alumni, and well-wishers from the wider community. Adding further excitement, Zayani Motors has generously supported the fair with an MG ZS car as the first prize for the raffle draw.
The draw will be conducted on 18 January 2026 at 11am, in the presence of officials from the ministry. The fair promises two evenings filled with cultural richness, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. The fair will showcase an impressive range of student cultural performances, reflecting the diverse artistic talents nurtured at the school. A major attraction of the fair will be its extensive food and recreation zones. Licensed outdoor catering establishments will offer a wide selection of delicacies, featuring regional specialties from Bahrain alongside popular cuisines from various Indian states. In addition, numerous games, entertainment stalls, and recreational activities will be arranged for children, youth, and families, transforming the school grounds into a lively and festive space.

The successful execution of these large-scale Platinum Jubilee events is being ensured through
meticulous planning and strong collaboration. The ISB has constituted a dedicated organising
committee led by the principals and vice-principals, with support from teachers representing multiple departments. Complementing this structure parent organizing committee, led by General Convener R. Ramesh of Santy Constructions WLL.
The Platinum Jubilee Cultural Fair has been conceptualised with clear and meaningful objectives.
Proceeds from the event will be directed towards infrastructure development, financial assistance for students in need, and staff welfare initiatives. Reflecting on the significance of the Jubilee celebrations Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming enthusiasm shown by all stakeholders. With over 12,000 students and 700 staff members actively involved in preparations, the celebrations truly reflect the unity, diversity, and vibrancy of the ISB community. Through the Annual Cultural Fair – Platinum Jubilee Year 2025, the school celebrates not only its remarkable 75-year legacy but also its enduring bond with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its unwavering commitment to nurturing future generations.
