Manama : His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, commended the support of Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, for launching the second edition of the “Qadha” programme. His Highness said the initiative forms part of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s longstanding efforts to empower youth and enhance their capabilities.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad said the programme reflects a clear vision set by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, centred on investing in youth’s potential, preparing them to face challenges, and reinforcing the values of teamwork, commitment, and discipline. His Highness noted that the second edition follows HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s directive to develop “Qadha” into a national platform that enables young people to explore their abilities and enhance their skills through practical military experience.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad highlighted that HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s guidance has played a key role in the programme’s development and positive impact, underscoring his continued support for initiatives that foster challenge, achievement, and leadership among Bahraini youth.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also commended the role of the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force in delivering the programme by providing advanced training, logistical support, and a professional environment that contributed to the strong presentation of the second edition.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad noted the broad public engagement the programme has generated, supported by its diverse content, realistic tasks, and high level of competition. His Highness said the participants’ performance demonstrates the programme’s value in building confidence, developing leadership, and strengthening practical skills, adding that its continued implementation will further encourage innovation and achievement among young Bahrainis.
