Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of the Kingdom of Malaysia.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Royal Bahrain Concours, held at the Royal Golf Club.

His Royal Highness affirmed that bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia continue to go from strength to strength across a diverse range of sectors, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the King of Malaysia.
His Royal Highness commended Malaysia’s comprehensive development and its distinguished standing on both the regional and global stages. In this regard, His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to building upon the strategic foundations of the longstanding partnership, in support of the shared goals of progress and prosperity for both nations.

The meeting also reviewed the latest regional and international developments, discussed issues of common interest, and explored ways to enhance cooperation that achieves the aspirations of both countries and their peoples.
A lunch banquet was held in honour of His Majesty the King of Malaysia and the accompanying delegation’s state visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Several senior officials were also in attendance.
