Manama : The opening race of Round 2 of the FIA-certified Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship concluded today, Wednesday, at the Bahrain International Circuit. Promoted by ALTAWKILAT Motorsport under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), the event brought together 14 male and female drivers for an action-packed day of competition.

The race delivered fierce on-track battles among the young talents, who showcased exceptional pace and precision, reflecting the steady rise in the championship’s level from one round to the next. At the checkered flag, Emirati driver Adam Al Azhari (Valvoline) claimed a dominant victory, followed by Swedish driver Scott Kin Lindblom (Red Bull) in second place, and British driver Kit Belofsky (PEAX) in third. Belofsky also earned the Best Rookie Driver Award, while American driver Ava Dobson (PEAX) was recognized as the Best Female Driver.

Earlier in the day, Al Azhari topped the qualifying session with a blistering lap of 2:06.907, edging out Lindblom by 0.547 seconds, while Belofsky secured third just 0.592 seconds behind. Theo Palmer, Ari Bansal, and Chiara Bättig completed the top six.
The race was briefly neutralized by a Safety Car following a collision between Swiss driver Chiara Bättig (Red Bull) and British driver Megan Bruce (CARAAGY) on lap seven. Meanwhile, German newcomer Esmee Kustermann impressed with a strong performance, climbing from 12th on the grid to finish ninth.

Round 2 action continues tomorrow, Thursday, with the second and final race of the weekend, as fans eagerly anticipate another thrilling showdown between the rising stars of the championship. With margins tighter than ever and podium battles heating up, another exciting race is expected at the technically demanding Bahrain International Circuit, before the championship heads to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the world’s fastest street track.
