Mogadishu : The Somali Ministry of Defence announced that the army repelled a dawn attack by terrorist elements in the southern region of the country, killing 18 militants.
The clashes occurred in the Sabiib and Anole areas of the Lower Shabelle region. According to the ministry, four Somali army personnel were also killed during the confrontation.
