Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met today with the Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technologies of the United States of America, Anne Neuberger, on the sidelines of the 20th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding Bahrain-U.S. relations, which are bolstered by a strategic partnership and multisectoral collaboration, particularly in military and defense, with the most recent example being the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA).
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, noted that the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement is designed, not as a bilateral arrangement, but as the beginning of a multilateral framework that aims to bring together countries with an equal interest in delivering stability and prosperity. It is a model for how nations can promote an inclusive vision grounded in mutual respect and shared goals.
His Royal Highness underlined that engaging in wide-ranging partnerships such as these will be crucial to advancing the cause of multilateralism and ensuring that cooperation becomes the cornerstone of our collective security frameworks. Through such agreements, we are confident that the Middle East, and the global community, can build a future rooted in peace, economic growth, and a rules-based international order that benefits all people.

His Royal Highness highlighted the advanced levels of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, emphasising the pivotal role of the U.S., along with its allies, in safeguarding security and stability both regionally and internationally.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation in the military and defense fields.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Defence Affairs, HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, and the Bahrain Defence Force Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, also attended the meeting.
