Manama : On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, received the 21st annual report of the National Audit Office (NAO) for the 2023/2024 professional year from Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the NAO.
The minister emphasised the role of the NAO as a cornerstone of HM the King’s comprehensive development process.
The auditor general highlighted its contribution to protecting public funds, preserving Bahrain’s resources, and ensuring the highest levels of productivity, efficiency, and optimal resource utilisation through adherence to professional and transparent standards.
The minister commended the efforts and professionalism of the office’s staff and the importance of their work and reports, which enhance the quality of services and serve the national interest in line with the principles of the National Action Charter and the Constitution of the Kingdom.
