Manama : Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, attended the ceremony announcing the finalists for the Media Talents Award 2024, which focused this year on television, cinema, and theatre acting.

The annual award, organised by the Ministry of Information in partnership with Tamkeen Labour Fund as part of the Innovators’ Lab initiative, brought together prominent Bahraini artists and industry professionals.
The Minister affirmed the ministry’s commitment to supporting Bahrain’s young media talent across all media domains, highlighting the ministry’s continued efforts to launch initiatives aimed at refining and advancing their skills.

He noted that this aligns with Bahrain’s growing regional and international media presence, especially as Manama was named Capital of Arab Media for 2024.
Dr. Al Noaimi commended the substantial interest in the Media Talents Award 2024, which saw over 200 applicants, with 45 selected to advance to the next stage, which includes specialised training led by experienced artists and industry experts.

The Minister expressed appreciation for the efforts of the award organisers and lauded the fruitful collaboration between the Ministry of Information and Tamkeen to develop Bahraini youth skills in the media sector.
He expressed hope that the award would identify new acting talents who would contribute to the accomplishments of Bahrain’s artists.
