Doha, Oct. 28 (BNA): Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the 34th meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Minister Al Maawda underscored the importance of the discussions, which included agreements to strengthen legal and judicial collaboration across GCC member states.
The meeting approved the agreements regulating civil and criminal law cooperation, which come within the framework of upgrading the agreement on the enforcement of judicial rulings, deputations, and notifications. It also approved the Doha Document on juvenile justice guidelines and reviewed proposals to establish unified standards for anti-discrimination and hate speech laws.
