Manama : Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, has announced the launch of “IDEA HUB”, a new digital platform aimed at enabling young people to put forward innovative proposals and development initiatives that contribute to advancing the youth sector and strengthening their role in national development.
The Minister said the initiative reflects the Ministry’s commitment to creating a supportive national environment that nurtures creativity and transforms young people’s ambitions into practical, high-impact projects. She commended the calibre of ideas and initiatives presented by Bahraini youth, noting that the platform underscores the Ministry’s confidence in their capabilities and its belief in their capacity to drive community progress through forward-looking and innovative approaches.
She added that “IDEA HUB” is designed as an interactive channel through which young people can share their perspectives, have their proposals evaluated, and receive support to develop viable initiatives that contribute to building a more innovative and sustainable future.
The platform is open to young people aged 15 to 35 and invites submissions of original, implementable ideas that are directly relevant to the youth sector and capable of delivering tangible and wide-ranging community impact.
Submissions may be made via the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ official website, subject to defined criteria, including innovation, feasibility, clarity of concept and implementation mechanisms, and the potential to benefit a broad segment of society.
The Ministry will review proposals in line with its policies and oversee the development and execution of those that meet the approved standards, with the aim of translating promising ideas into practical initiatives that further strengthen the youth sector.
