Manama : Youth leaders said that the meeting of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, with more than 400 young men and women marking Bahraini Youth Day reflects the importance of youth as partners in safeguarding the nation and advancing development.
In statements to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), they noted that the meeting and the address delivered by His Highness underscored a national approach that positions youth as active contributors to development and reinforces their role in supporting stability and national cohesion.

They highlighted that the address reaffirmed the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in empowering youth and strengthening their participation across sectors.
Youth leaders said the address emphasised that young people represent an active force in addressing challenges and contributing to national stability, noting that the current phase requires responsibility, unity, and practical engagement.
They added that the messages focused on strengthening national responsibility, promoting commitment in professional and volunteer work, and translating initiatives into coordinated efforts that support development and social cohesion.

They also noted that the address highlighted the importance of linking national ambition with field-based work, enhancing communication among youth, and providing opportunities for engagement and the exchange of experiences.
Youth leaders said the meeting consolidated confidence in the role of youth as partners in shaping the future, noting that the address’s alignment with current developments contributes to strengthening their sense of responsibility and commitment to national priorities.
