Manama : Kirill Bykov, Prime Minister of Yakutia, visited the Pearling Path in Muharraq, accompanied by Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; and Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA).
The Prime Minister was briefed on Bahrain’s second UNESCO World Heritage Site and its role in preserving, documenting, and promoting the Kingdom’s rich and ancient pearling heritage.
He also toured the Pearling Museum, one of the key landmarks along the path and explored rare pearl artefacts and collections dating from Bahrain’s ancient civilisations, including Dilmun and Tylos, through to the modern era.
