Manama : Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) organised the Community Iftar initiative as part of its Ramadhan campaign “Changing Their Lives.”
The event took place in the courtyard opposite the Sabeeka Al Ansari Mosque in Isa Town, in the presence of Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, RHF Secretary-General, along with officials from the foundation.
The iftar meals were prepared under the supervision of a team from Netaj Khair Bahrain, an RHF-affiliated centre, with the participation of female employees of the foundation. The initiative was overseen by Chef Shawqi Ahmed, Culinary Trainer at National Capabilities for Commercial Services.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa affirmed that the initiative reflects HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s directives and commitment to fostering social solidarity, compassion, and community engagement, particularly during the holy month of Ramadhan.
He highlighted RHF’s dedication to diversifying its humanitarian initiatives, reinforcing its role in community support and promoting the principles of social partnership.
On his part, the Secretary-General extended his appreciation to all contributors, supporters, and volunteers whose efforts played a key role in strengthening the values of generosity and giving within the community.
