Manama : The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Bahrain celebrated the 53rd UAE National Day at the Bahrain National Museum.
Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives; Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council; Ayman Tawfiq Al Moayed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS); Dr. Isa Nasser Al Noaimi, Undersecretary for consular and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; were in attendance along with senior Bahraini officials, diplomats, business leaders, and members of the cultural and media sectors.
Fahad Mohammed Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Vice President; and the UAE’s Supreme Council members, as well as the Emirati people. He wished continued security, stability, and prosperity for the UAE under its leadership.
The ambassador highlighted the UAE’s achievements over the past 53 years, driven by unity and ambition, and emphasised its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global cooperation. He noted that the UAE has strengthened its leadership in areas such as technology, space exploration, clean energy, and culture, underpinned by its principles of diversity, openness, and respect for pluralism.
The ambassador underscored the enduring strength of Bahrain-UAE relations, which are rooted in shared history, familial ties, and mutual respect. He highlighted the robust economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, with non-oil trade reaching $7.505 billion in 2023, and commended the private sector’s role in enhancing development efforts.
